SHAMROCK MARATHON promotes A Dolphin’s Promise

A Dolphin’s Promise was proud to take part in the events leading to and during the Shamrock Marathon. Final Kick Sports generously donated a space to “A Dolphin’s Promise” at their Sports Expo which was held at the new Virginia Beach Convention Center. At the expo, A Dolphin’s Promise had a blank dolphin which runners and well wishers wrote words of encouragement to marathon and 8K participants. This dolphin was then placed at the 13 mile marker of the marathon to encourage competing runners. In addition, we were lucky to have a dolphin at the beginning and end of the marathon. Crowds of runners gathered at the Shamrock dolphin to wait in line to have their photo taken with the dolphin. Not only was this an exciting and worthwhile event, A Dolphin’s Promise raised over $2000.00 in its quest to find a cure.
